Mr. Katz holds a degree in Engineering, and has served in a number of prestigious positions, reflecting his expertise in both conventional and pre-fab. construction.

Before founding B.M., Mr. Katz was actively involved in both building methods. He acted as “Project Manager and District Manager” of a pre-fab building company “Mabat”. In this capacity, Mr. Katz headed the “Quality Control Department”, and directed all R. & D.  activities. Today, among his many public positions, Mr. Katz serves as “The Building Consultant” of “The Israeli Consumers’ Counsel” and of “Kolbotec” (a T.V. program dedicated to consumers reports). He is a member of the “Central Committee for Building Standards” of “The Israeli Standard Institute”.

 Moreover, Mr. Katz is repeatedly nominated by the “Israeli Courts” to serve as an expert arbitrator. His professional opinion has formed the basis of thousands of reports that have resulted in construction repairs, court verdicts and damage fees.

 Mr. Katz has published numerous books and articles, is invited as a guest lecturer sharing his highly acclaimed expertise and experiences with a variety of organizations.

Inspection Before and During Construction

BM’s qualified engineers arrive at building site, located anywhere in the country at pre- determined, regular, intervals. They examine and assess all procedures and methods of constructions, making sure with specification that everything is being implemented and in conformance according to plan.

At the end of each inspection, the client receives a detailed written report. In the event of a defect or a deviation from the plan BM submits repair recommendation. These written reports provide the client with expert testimony, attesting to the clients right to repair the future damages to the construction.

Court – appointed Assessment and Arbitration

BM inspects the site and the damages in need of repair, estimating the costs involved. In the majority of such instances, BM decides and settles the case – providing a compromised solution that is mutually acceptable to both sides. These procedures, typically held in BM’s offices, are usually settled out of court, saving the owner of the property and the builder (contractor) unnecessary expenses.
